Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort

Looking to immerse yourself in a true Hawaiian experience? Check out Kona Village, Rosewood’s newest resort.

After being destroyed by a Tsunami in 2011, the resort reopened in July 2023 as a Rosewood Resort. 80 percent of materials from the original buildings were salvaged and repurposed. In fact, one of the property’s bars, shipwreck, is a refurbished sunken sailboat from the bottom of Kahuwai Bay.

The reimagined resort draws inspiration from the history of the site, local culture, and natural elements to deliver a distinctively Hawaiian experience, while still maintaining the luxury Rosewood feel.

The resort features 150 hales (rooms) including 37 kauhale (suites), each maintaining the traditional Hawaiian freestanding beach bungalow structure. Every hale and kauhale includes oversized patios, luxury outdoor rainfall showers and views of the mountains, Hualālai volcano and Kahuwai Bay.

Book with Magma Global to receive preferential rates, full daily breakfast, complimentary upgrades, resort credits, and other VIP amenities. We can even arrange airport transfers, reservations and other services to make your stay unforgettable.
