Thomson Houston: New Restaurant Hotspot
The new Thompson Houston has shaken up the city’s restaurant scene. Thompson Houston is bringing 5 completely different restaurants (and a coffee shop too). Toca Madera and Meduza Mediterranean will be managed by hospitality company Noble33 and will be part of The Pavilion at The Allen, a building that’s adjacent to the hotel.
Sol 7
Sol 7, the first restaurant to premiere, occupies the seventh floor of the hotel. It overlooks a one-acre verdant garden surrounding Thompson Houston’s infinity pool.Whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, expect dishes like Gulf red snapper ceviche with roasted sweet potato and Peruvian corn in a marinade of leche de tigre, or a little gems salad with avocado, sugar snap peas, Marcona almonds, and a green goddess dressing.
Chardon (Opening Fall 2024)
Managed by TableOne Hospitality, Chardon is a modern brasserie concept that takes a lighter approach to traditional French fare. It promises to tell the story of everyday French cooking in a craveable and delicious way.
Buck 40 (Opening Summer 2024)
